We're not a roadside mechanic, and we won't pretend a five-minute fix on the hard shoulder is something we specialise in. What we do is get your car or van from wherever it's stuck to wherever it needs to be next, a garage, your home, or straight to us if it's not worth saving.

If your usual breakdown cover already has someone on the way, you don't need us. If you're without cover, or the car's genuinely not worth fixing, that's where we come in. If you've got cover but would rather arrange your own recovery, that's often allowed too, worth checking your policy or asking us to confirm before you book.

Recovery Or Scrap: Worth Knowing Before You Call

Not every breakdown is worth recovering to a garage. If the car's failed for the second or third time this year, or the repair's going to cost more than the car's actually worth, it's often simpler to have it collected and scrapped properly instead.

If your car's an automatic, mention that when you call. Towing an automatic conventionally, wheels on the ground, can damage the gearbox if it's not done the right way, so it's worth flagging upfront rather than finding out on the day. The same goes for anything with seized wheels or steering damage, the more we know before we arrive, the smoother the job goes.
